The Annapurna Circuit is legendary, but our 17-day enhanced itinerary takes the adventure to a whole new level. By adding the detour to Tilicho Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world, and concluding with the sunrise views at Poon Hill, we offer a comprehensive experience of the Annapurna massif that few other treks can match.
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu, following the Marsyangdi River. As you trek through lush subtropical forests and terraced fields, the landscape gradually transforms into a high-altitude desert reminiscent of the Tibetan Plateau.
In Manang, we take essential time to acclimatize before heading toward the emerald-blue Tilicho Lake, nestled at the foot of the Tilicho Peak. After witnessing the lake's pristine beauty, the trail leads us to the ultimate challenge: Thorong La Pass (5,416m). Standing at the prayer-flag-strewn summit provides a sense of achievement that stays with you for a lifetime.
Descending into the spiritual hub of Muktinath, you will explore sacred temples before driving down the deepest gorge in the world to reach the natural hot springs of Tatopani. The trek concludes with a climb to Ghorepani and a pre-dawn hike to Poon Hill, where you’ll witness a 360-degree panorama of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges bathed in golden sunlight.
